Robert Rotstein Quoted Regarding Streaming of Copyrighted Movies
April 6, 2011
Robert Rotstein was quoted in Home Media Magazine about the copyright infringement lawsuit filed by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) against movie-streaming website Zediva.com. "The first-sale doctrine protects the use of the physical good, but it doesn't allow for public performance," Rotstein said. "Even if they have a limited number of DVDs, under the law it's still public performance."
