IIPA Submits Recommendations to U.S. Trade Representative to Strengthen U.S. Copyright Protection and Enforcement Worldwide

IIPA Counsel and MSK Partner, Steve Metalitz, described the International Intellectual Property Alliance (IIPA) report as highlighting the severe harm caused by piracy in the online and physical environment, as well as the promise that swift action will foster legitimate commerce in copyright works, benefiting creators and consumers worldwide. Reducing trade barriers, like copyright piracy, and encouraging free and fair trade through targeted Free Trade Agreements is essential to secure American jobs and grow the economy.
