Alesha M. Dominique Appointed as Practice Chair for MSK’s Trademark Prosecution Practice
Alesha M. Dominique, a partner in Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp’s Los Angeles office, has been appointed as Practice Chair for the firm’s Trademark Prosecution Practice, effective June 1, 2020. Alesha will lead the firm advising and counseling clients on every aspect of trademark protection and enforcement, including: trademark clearance, prosecution and maintenance, both in the U.S. and internationally; monitoring trademark registries and marketplace for infringement; portfolio assessment and management; negotiating trademark licensing and coexistence agreements; and litigating before the USPTO Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and federal courts. Alesha’s experience includes representing clients before federal district courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, U.S. International Trade Commission, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She represents clients in multiple areas, including the entertainment, music, fashion, beauty, food and beverage, software and e-commerce industries. Alesha has been named as a "Top 100" lawyer by The National Black Lawyers as well as a “Woman Worth Watching” by Profiles in Diversity Journal. She received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and a B.S., magna cum laude, from Howard University.
