Russ Frackman Discusses Landmark Napster Decision, 10 Years Later, with Herald de Paris

Russell Frackman discussed copyright issues with the Herald de Paris in the December 26, 2009 "10 Years Since Napster: Can the Ruling That Saved an Industry Do the Job Again?". Mr. Frackman, lead litigator in the seminal case, asserted that the copyright principles that saved the recording industry can also salvage other industries with similar problems. As Frackman states, "This [Napster] decision gives protection to creators and lets them create…Their right to create is protected at the benefit of the public."
